About the Author
Born and raised in western New York State, Donald Angell Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ithaca College and then completed graduate degree studies at the University of Oregon, Eugene, and the University of Illinois, Champaign.
His teaching credits include lecturing for the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, PA, and the Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Angell became an Associate Professor of Human Resources at the University of Scranton, teaching there for 8 years.
He left teaching in 1977 to begin what has become a thirty year career and journey into clinical work and the private practice of psychology and therapy in the Boston area. The father of three children and grandfather of seven, Donald Angell now resides with his wife on Kingston Bay in southeastern Massachusetts.
His favorite therapeutic intervention begins, “Let me tell you a story.” In fact, his favorite image is being seen as a teller of stories. He has penned two novels thus far: Where Somebody Waits For Me, published in 2004, and Mission at Stellwagon, published in 2008. Dr. Angell is currently working on his third novel, set in the cold war era.
